1.Coming to the end of 2014, we all decorated our
class for Christmas and New Year. The credit for decorating the our snowy class bulletin board goes to Diya & Aditti.
1.We were lucky enough to be shown 2 amazing
movies in the school auditorium namely, The Chronicles of Narnia- The Voyage of
the Dawn Treader and Cinderella- Twist in Time.
Our
annual Sport’s Day was a big blast. All the 3 sections showcased the ‘Colorful
Extravaganza’ a hoola-hoop dance. Girls also participated in the sac race as
well as the horse riding event.
1.The Heritage Club organized a declamation
competition on the topic 'Our Heritage-Boon or Bane for the Tourists'. Jessica and Jahnvi, Saumyaa and Khushi, Dea Batra and Zaina bagged the first, second and
third prizes respectively.
1.An intera-school discover- by-chance competition
was organized for class 8 students in pairs. About 7-8 pairs from 8C participated
creating a tough completion for all. In the end, Saumyaa and Prayashi’s act was
adjudged the best, in both intera-school level as well as the inter-school
level.
1The English Fest was held on
the 28th of November followed by a fete. Class 8 students had
enacted out the poem, ‘7 AGES’ to rejuvenate the memories of Shakespeare under
the able guidance of Naaz ma’am and Jyoti ma’am.
Self Defense classes were organized by all the students from class 5-11. By attending this workshop we have developed a sense of confidence to face any danger. The grandmaster, Deepak alas Shifu ji had trained us for 3 hours daily for 4 days i.e. 24th-27th November.
